We’ve barely had the time to recover from their last event that MDLBEAST is already gearing up for their next big one, Balad Beast. Scheduled to take place from Jan. 30–31, the Saudi entertainment powerhouse is, mere weeks after having welcomed an impressive roster of local, regional, and international artists at SoundStorm, opening its arms to yet another extraordinary line-up of acts.
For the mini-festival’s second edition, organizers aim to bring the same heat they brought to Riyadh at their flagship festival, Soundstorm, to the Gulf country’s second-largest city, Jeddah. This time around, party-goers can expect an eclectic mix of genres, from electro to hip-hop and everything in between, with XXL performances that promise to leave t-shirts soaked and keep gun-fingers high in the air over two consecutive nights.
From what’s been teased so far, we know that Egyptian rock band Cairokee, French-Algerian disc-spinner DJ Snake, and American rapper Ty Dolla $ign are amongst some of the big names expected to flock to Jeddah next month. Joining them will be New York hip-hop legends Wu-Tang Clan, Sudanese rising star Dafencii, and Secaucus-born hitmaker Russ, alongside many others, including Wiz Khalifa, Metro Boomin and 21 Savage, who need no introduction.
Tickets for the much-anticipated event are already available, with GA 2-DAY passes priced at SAR339 ($90) and 2-DAY VIB tickets retailing at a price-point of SAR1459 ($390). It’s worth noting that single-day GA and VIP tickets have already sold out, which means that if you want to avoid feeling any kind of FOMO, be sure to grab your tickets now before it’s too late!
