As we have previously mentioned, MDLBEAST, Saudi Arabia’s first-ever electronic music festival, will be joining the FIFA World Cup festivities in Qatar next month with ARAVIA, a series of concerts from the biggest names in the regional and international music scene. Expected to take over the Al Rihla venue’s stage for 28 days from Nov. 21 to Dec. 18, football fans will be able to ease off the stress induced by the high-stake games that are yet to come by dancing to contagious beats and bars from some of the region, and world’s top artists at the heart of the Gulf State.
Today, organizers of the hotly anticipated event revealed a comprehensive list of the headliners that are expected to partake and perform at the first Qatar-sponsored edition of the region’s most-hyped music festival. From Rae Sremmurd, Da Baby, and Tyga to Jorja Smith, Cosmicat, and Dish Dash, the forthcoming concert series is certainly not one to miss. Purposefully put together for the international sports tournament, ARAVIA will mark MDLBEAST’s debut outside of Saudi Arabia’s borders, bringing its now-famed and recognized party spirit from Riyadh to Doha for a unique experience visitors and guests soon won’t forget. Kicking off at the end of each game, fans can expect a wide range of genres and styles of music to be blasted throughout the whole course of the competition, providing attendees with extra-time tunes to dance their way through the night in the Doha. With tickets starting at $55, the sonic happening is on a mission to shine light on the country’s budding creative scene while inviting world-renowned stars over for what is shaping up to be the other can’t-miss event at the purpose-built Al Rihla stage.
“Our mission goes far beyond the music scene in Saudi Arabia. On the contrary, it is aimed at growing the music industry region-wide and ensuring we create a sustainable music industry, inspiring and empowering the entire ecosystem,” said Talal Albahiti, Chief Operating Officer and Head of Talent Booking at MDLBEAST.
“Between our annual flagship event SOUNDSTORM in Riyadh, and ARAVIA in Doha, we are thrilled to travel out of Saudi for the first time and be hosting these incredible music events. Flying into Qatar, to bring in our talented team and expertise to ensure music fans across the region enjoy the best performers from around the world,” he added.
