The Campy Chronicles Book Club
Bookworms don’t want to miss the chance to attend the first Campy Chronicles x Sole DXB book club. Taking place just days before the hotly-anticipated festival, this edition’s book of choice is Julia Cameron’s The Artist’s Way, which registered guests are invited to delve into and discuss together on Dec. 8 from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M.
‘DJ Mehdi: Made in France’ Film Screening
Don’t miss the exclusive screening of a 6-part docuseries celebrating the late DJ Mehdi, the Parisian legend who shaped French rap and became a global ambassador for French electronica alongside Justice, Daft Punk, and the iconic Ed Banger Records collective. Catch the full series at Cinema Akil in Al Serkal Avenue on Dec. 9 and 10.
Stick around on Dec. 10 for a special Q&A with director Thibaut de Longeville, moderated by Mikey Muhanna, founder of Afikra.
