Miu Miu’s Ramadan Takeover at Villa 515 Is the Chicest Suhoor in Dubai

from march 3 to 16

In honor of the Holy Month of Ramadan, Miu Miu is hosting a two-week takeover of Dubai’s Villa 515. From March 3 until 16, guests are invited to enjoy a dedicated dining concept curated by Palestinian-Jordanian Chef Sara Aqel, who designed the menu to reflect the rich flavors of the region. On the menu: a refreshing tomato salad, a delicate raw seabream wrapped in a vine leaf, a creamy risotto, and a divine olive oil cake dessert to finish. After that, it’s time for a curated programme of live performances and workshops in the charming surroundings of Villa 515 replete with Miu Miu-inspired branding.

The festivities began with a private suhoor on Monday, with a special performance by Iraqi singer Rahma Riadh. Guests were decked out in pieces from Miu Miu’s most recent Ramadan collection, which fittingly reimagines beloved wardrobe staples such as skirts, polo shirts, button-ups, and bombers.

Brand takeovers during Ramadan have become a signature way for luxury houses to engage with the region, offering immersive experiences that go beyond the transactional. Miu Miu’s activation at Villa 515 is no exception—it’s a carefully curated space where fashion, culture, and community intersect. These takeovers aren’t just about showcasing collections; they’re about creating memorable, culturally relevant moments that align with the significance of the Holy Month. They tap into the unique social atmosphere of Ramadan, when gatherings take on a special weight, blending spirituality with celebration.

Suhoors in the GCC are an extension of the region’s deeply rooted hospitality culture. Unlike iftar, which is focused on breaking the fast, suhoor is a slower, more intimate affair, often stretching into the early hours of the morning. It’s where conversations flow freely over endless cups of karak, where friends reconnect, and where fashion statements are made. This blend of tradition and modernity makes it an ideal setting for luxury brands to step in and engage with the Middle East, not as an afterthought, but as a key player in shaping the contemporary landscape of fashion and hospitality.

As the two-week celebration unfolds, expect more special moments—workshops, intimate performances, and of course, a continued showcase of Miu Miu’s Ramadan collection in action.
