You might recognize Sarah Taibah from the hit series Jameel Jedan, and have likely been drawn in by Hamza Hawsawi’s smooth vocals. But it’s neither their acting nor their singing that’s on the spotlight this Ramadan. The two Jeddah-based creatives have been tapped by Montblanc to put their storytelling abilities on the forefront.

To mark the beginning of the holy month, the Swiss Maison decidedly put its focus on the art of writing, with the aim to simultaneously celebrate the artform, and shed light on the creative processes of their two protagonists, Sarah and Hamza.

Creativity and storytelling, whether through music, the spoken word or writing, is one that Montblanc appreciates and supports around the world. Through this new season of Montblanc Ramadan campaign, we are delighted to showcase the depth of regional creativity and its young talents and inspire people to write their own stories,” says Franck Juhel, President of Montblac Middle East, India and Africa.

Of course, the campaign is set in none-other than their home bases of Jeddah. Shot in the historic Al Balad District, which is also known as the ‘Bride of the Red Sea’, the Saudi creatives reflect on their sentiments on Ramadan and the importance of recording and telling personal stories.

The campaign wouldn’t be complete without capturing the spirit of the holy month. The Taibah and Hawsawi ultimately settle on a meeting of the minds, gathering with their friends to share a meal together.
