Technically, yesterday was Halloween, but stars have been celebrating the spooky holiday all weekend long and sharing their creative get-ups on social media. Over the past couple of days, our Instagram feeds were flooded with images of celebrities and regional social media stars donning creative costumes and spooky looks as they celebrated Halloween, marked on Oct. 31. While some have decided to pay tribute to their favorite fellow stars like Lori Harvey, who emulated Beyonce’s look in the Me, Myself, and I video, others opted to take a more creepy route, including Diddy as an ultra-realistic Joker and Kylie Jenner, who was a very stylish Bride of Frankenstein wearing a couture gown designed by Glenn Martens for Jean Paul Gaultier.
For some, Halloween was a family affair. Ciara and her daughter recreated Serena and Venus Williams’ iconic “Got Milk?” poster, meanwhile Saudi content creator and new mom Alaa Balkhy posted an adorable photo that saw her and her husband dressed as beekeepers while her one-month-old daughter Aziza wore a bee costume.
Elsewhere, Little Mix member Jade Thirlwall decided to play up her Yemeni and Egyptian roots by dressing up as our favorite Arab-adjacent Disney princess, Jasmine. Thirlwall wasn’t the only celebrity to reference pop culture with her costume. Kim Kardashian channeled X-Men superhero Mystique, while Lizzo dressed as Marge Simpson.
