H&M will be collaborating with Mugler for its next designer collaboration for Spring 2023, the Swedish mega-retailer revealed on Wednesday. Crafted under the direction of Mugler’s creative director Casey Cadwallader, the Mugler x H&M collection “will encapsulate the unique and vibrant spirit of Mugler.” The limited edition capsule collection is expected to hit H&M stores worldwide this spring.
Since 2004, H&M has been democratizing high-fashion by teaming up with luxury fashion houses and designers to offer global audiences the chance to own special pieces of high-end designer history. In the past, the retailer has collaborated with Karl Lagerfeld, Rei Kawakubo, Alexander Wang, Giambattista Valli, Kenzo, Balmain, and more.
While not a lot of information has been revealed about the forthcoming designer collaboration, we can expect Cadwallader’s spiral-cut and curve-hugging designs to be reimagined for the haute street. Considering the majority of these H&M collections sell out within hours and hit the resale market for two or three times the price of the originals, we suggest you start saving up from now.
