We’re just days into 2021, and one of the year’s most coveted collabs is already underway. Gucci’s highly-anticipated collection with The North Face is officially here.
We first heard the news of the unexpected partnership in September when Gucci dropped a series of inconspicuous teasers on social media. As of January 6, the collection is available in American stores and is expected to roll out internationally mid-January. If adventure is your thing, you’re going to want to get your hands on it.

As seen in a campaign shot by Daniel Shea in the Alps, the collection is made up of everything a campy outdoor enthusiast can dream up. Think puffer jackets, full skirts, hiking boots, and of course, a jumpsuit.
But they’ve taken things to the next level. It only makes sense that the luxury Italian fashion house’s team up with The North Face comes their first venture into serious camping essentials: tents and sleeping bags.

In true Gucci fashion, maximalism has not been spared. The collection’s color palette is packed with bright, bold hues, and busy prints. But The North Face’s imprint remains visible, with the outerwear silhouettes inspired the label’s archival designs from the 70s.
With Gucci creative director Alessandro Michele known for his panache for everything 70s, it’s safe to say that the collab perfectly marries what the two labels do best.
