In a world where everything is instantly available and endlessly replicated, luxury is no longer just about owning something rare. And what says luxury better than having a hand in its creation? With its new bespoke service in Dubai and Riyadh, Egyptian label OKHTEIN is leaning into that idea, inviting clients to co-create bags shaped by craft, heritage, and personal storytelling.
Moving away from the traditional retail experience and toward something more intimate, the brand invites clients to co-create directly with founders Aya and Mounaz Abdelraouf, prioritizing craftsmanship, storytelling, and individuality. It is a natural evolution for a label that has long drawn on Arab heritage and artisanal techniques, now giving clients the chance to shape that narrative themselves.

The experience revolves around two exclusive catalogues, Bridal and Evening, both rooted in Okhtein’s signature visual language. From there, it’s a bit of a playground: embroidered fabrics, intricate metalwork, Swarovski crystals, glass beading, bullion stitching, and brass coins are all on the table. Each detail is chosen deliberately, not only for its aesthetic impact but for the story it carries. The end result feels less like a seasonal bag, and more like something you’d keep forever.
What makes the process particularly personal is the involvement of sisters Aya and Mounaz, who co-founded the accessories label in 2013, themselves. The duo sketch each piece by hand, guiding clients through the creative journey and translating ideas into form. Every bag is then finished with a custom monogram engraved inside, a subtle detail that turns the piece into something unmistakably individual.
“We are beyond excited to bring our Bespoke Service to the UAE and Saudi Arabia,” Aya and Mounaz Abdelraouf shared. “Each piece is a celebration of individuality and heritage; a chance for our clients to co-create something deeply personal. Every hand embroidered detail and delicate embellishment is crafted to tell a story, creating a cherished work of art that is uniquely theirs.”
Available by private appointment at Okhtein flagships in Dubai City Walk and Kingdom Mall in Riyadh, the bespoke service feels like an extension of the brand’s world, where heritage meets sculptural design, and where luxury is defined not just by how something looks, but by how it is made and who it is made for.
