Music can be enjoyed in a myriad of ways; some prefer to plug in their earphones, shut out the world, and fully immerse themselves to soak in every beat-drop, arrangement, and lyric, while others will insist that a great track can’t be complete without the perfect visuals, whether it’s the artwork, the song’s cover, or it’s music video. Red pill, blue pill: only you know how you like to treat your tunes.
Since the start of the year, our region’s artists have been competing to be the jack of all trades when it comes to mastering the art of both image and sound. To be considered the industry’s MVP now requires an all-around creative vision, and from our side of the world, it seems as if that assignment has been well understood.
We’re only a few weeks into 2025, and we’ve already been treated to a rich slate of projects, both in terms of what’s been recorded inside a studio and shot on a set. To save you from scrolling, read on to discover all the MILLE-approved music videos of the year (so far).
Mvndila, Norfafrica – Aljazeera
If this isn’t a big mood to you, we’re sorry, we can’t help you.
Rita L’Oujdia — FRÍO
It’s time we give her the recognition she deserves. Neatly executed, the music video bottles the song’s spirit more than just well, adding an extra layer of intensity to the track’s already loaded lyrics. Slay.
Losez — HASNI 1993 (with LAÏ, Zouj & syqlone)
Y2K-core 3ala tool. Sometimes the best ideas will cost you the least with a great mind and good friends.
Wegz – TNKR.
The drip’s naughty, so is the track. It’s giving Counter-strike but make it masry. Loved it x
Saint Levant — EXILE
Suave and slick, as per. 5/5
STORMY — KA3I
Beat’s there, bars are too, both soundtracking the life of a man *literally* boxing his way through life. Hard.
Laila Beshara — Moshkela
Ya3ni with the pyramids in the background, you know you can’t miss. And she didn’t.
