The Lollapalooza lineup is finally here. The Chicago-based festival will be hosting the likes of SZA, Tyler the Creator, and Blink-182 who are leading the list of headliners along with The Killers, Future, and Metro Boomin’, among others. As stacked as that already sounds, that’s not what caught our attention in this year’s dynamic line up, though as there are two artists set to make an appearance, bringing Palestine to the all-American festival: Saint Levant and Elyanna.
Set against the backdrop of Grant Park in Chicago, the annual festival promises four days of music programming across eight stages, from Aug. 1 to 4. Following his forthcoming Coachella debut on April 13 and 20, Saint Levant is set to take over one of eight Lollapalooza stages, with tracks like From Gaza, With Love, and his most recent release alongside young Palestinian spitter MC Abdul, Deira.
Meanwhile, Elyanna, the Palestinian-Chilean singer who has won the hearts of many with her enchanting voice and culturally infused performances is also back on the lineup. Apart from her powerhouse of a voice, Elyanna continues to build her presence with renditions of iconic Arabic tracks, such as Amr Diab’s Tamally Maak and Abdel Halim Hafez’s Ahwak. The 22-year-old is on the brink of her first album launch titled WOLEDTO that is set to come out April 12.
Other acts include Hozier, Melanie Martinez, Skrillex, Victoria Monet, Dominic Fike, Jungle, Kevin Abstract, Tyla, and plenty more
