Prada Invites David Lynch and Jeff Goldblum to Walk Down The Runway

5-star names

It’s that time of the year again. Milan is back to being the global capital of fashion. Models, photographers and editors from all four corners of the globe are heading to the boot-shaped country to watch the new collections of men’s clothing be displayed on the runway. And Prada has just revealed its own.

Prior to the event, Raf Simons, in his second year of sitting at the head of the Italian powerhouse, and Miuccia Prada, flooded the internet with pictures of their Spring 22 collection by starring Tom Holland. They even took the opportunity up to swap his usual Spiderman suit with some of the luxury label’s fresh looks.

Held last night at the Deposito of the Fondazione Prada, the lavish brand put on a spectacular show to personify its new collection of clothes. The cast included more than one star-studded name with several figures plucked straight out of Hollywood’s finest pool of artists. The American trio of actors Jeff Goldblum, Kyle MacLachlan and David Lynch were some of the A-listers seen strut down the catwalk for the occasion. Undeniably chic and unique in every sense of the word, the presented pieces carried a  futuristic formal tone that led audience members and followers get a potential taste of what the uniforms of tomorrow might look like.

“The collection celebrates the idea of working — in all different spheres and meanings,” commented Miuccia Prada. “It is a practical, everyday thing. But here, you are formally important. You are not casual. And through these clothes, we emphasise that everything a human being does is important. Every aspect of reality can be elegant and dignified. Elevated, and celebrated.” she continued on about the collection.

Kicking this new year off in an edgy style, Prada is stamping its mark on the fashion world early and we love seeing it all. Here’s a couple of our favourite looks:
