PUMA Goes on a Dreamy Journey to the Mediterranean’s Rocky Shores

The Mohamad Abdouni directed film puts the spotlight on Kuwait-based artist Aidha Badr

For the first time, MILLE joins PUMA in celebration of the iconic Cali sneaker, going on a dreamy journey to the Mediterranean’s rocky coast.

Entitled ‘Washed Ashore’, the four-part film dives into the worlds of four strong Arab women, each with a fascinating story of her own.

Sat on a rocky cliff, Kuwait-based artist Aidha Badr’s story is the first to be told. The artist, known for her signature red-splattered renditions of women in her life, is seen in her element alongside her tools and her paintings sporting none other than the PUMA Cali sneaker.

Behind the lens is 29-year-old Lebanese director Mohamad Abdouni, who beautifully captures Badr’s essence. Abdouni, known for his raw style, has previously shot for the likes of Burberry and Gucci.
