Lebanese-British actress Razane Jammal has just been appointed as Dior’s newest brand ambassador in the Middle East and will front the French luxury label’s next womenswear campaigns in the region.

“I’m so unbelievably excited to finally announce that I will be joining Dior as a brand ambassador in the Middle East,” she wrote, announcing the news on her Instagram account. “Ever since I joined the fashion community, I wanted to collaborate with people I can truly grow with, to join a family that I value as much as it values me. It’s been a long journey but I can confidently say I’ve found my home!,” she added.

She joins a cohort of A-list Dior brand ambassadors, including Yara Shahidi, Natalie Portman, Cara Delevingne, and Anya Taylor-Joy, among others.

Having reached a major milestone earlier this year by being the world’s first-ever Arab actor to join the DC cinematic universe, Jammal is now making her foray into the modeling world and fashion industry.

At large, the 35-year-old is considered one of the most promising talents of her generation. The Lebanese bombshell made her global debut in Kanye West’s 2012 short film Cruel Summer, but it’s her casting in the Netflix-produced The Sandman that helped catapult her as one to watch in Hollywood. However, in the Arab World, she made a name for herself through her role as Maggie Mckillop, the main protagonist’s love interest in Netflix’s first Egyptian original, Paranormal

With a career spanning over almost two-decades in the industry, her latest role is one we certainly saw coming as  her last couple of red carpet appearances all saw her draped in designs by Dior. In her new role as brand ambassador, we look forward to seeing Jammal showcase more breathtaking looks from the fashion house.
