This Middle Eastern Luxury Store is Protecting Refugees From Coronavirus

Ounass is leading the way

With coronavirus proving that even the most privileged are vulnerable, it’s never been more important to take charge of those who were already marginalized pre-COVID19: refugees.

One Middle Eastern retailer is finally stepping up. UAE-based ecommerce platform Ounass is on a mission to bring light and protection to refugee communities around the globe.

Joining forces with the United Nations Refugee Agency, Ounass is working to provide hygiene kits for refugee families.

The company partnered up with Al-Tayer Group, Ounass’ parent company to make it happen. All shoppers will be able to donate anything from 50-200 AED upon check-out.

A 50 AED donation will provide a refugee family with a health kit. 100 AED will secure hygiene kits to a refugee family, including soap. For 200 AED, you can provide two refugee families with shelter, food, water, and medicine.

With Eid around the corner, there’s no better time to start thinking about your zakat.
