After years of speculation and invasive rumors, Kylian Mbappe has finally made the leap over from PSG to recent Champions League winners Real Madrid, marking a new chapter in his career all while strengthening his new club’s already impressive squad. Putting a definitive end to a suffocating saga— which took a toll on most football fans around the world as they impatiently waited for the move to finally happen— the piece of news was quick to spark reactions from influential figures of the sport, including Ronaldo, who was once a pivotal player for the Spanish capital’s side.
Following the Frenchman’s transfer to Real Madrid, the Portuguese athlete took to Instagram to express how excited he is to see Mbappe shine under his new club’s colors. In the comment section of Mbappe’s announcement on the social media platform, the Portuguese star wrote: “My turn to (watch you). Excited to see you light up the Bernabéu.”

As it turns out, the praise-filled message set a new record for the META-owned app by becoming its most liked comment ever with nearly 4 million likes.
The previous record was held by a comment on the post of an American teen called Reed Harrington. In his post, Reed shared a picture and wrote in the caption that he’d do whatever the most liked comment said. Unexpectedly, one comment managed to reach over 3.5 million likes, which requested him to “Fly to a small town in Thailand, get accepted by their people, learn the language, train in Muay Thai for a year and a half, fight in a tournament, win the tournament, return to the USA and join the UFC, stay in shape and go undefeated in your weight class, retire and do an interview saying this comment was the reason you fought so hard.”
