Saudi Arabia’s MDLBEAST Festival is Back

We’ve all missed partying haven’t we?

The Saudi Kingdom really has its eyes locked on making sure that Vision 2030 materialises according to plan. And with art and culture at the core of this project, the return of MDLBEAST comes as no surprise after its 24-month hiatus.

Defining themselves as a “lifestyle and entertainment experience brand”, MDLBEAST is on a promising mission to bring the epicentre and focal point of underground music to the region while showcasing local and international talents through their impressive reach.

Back in 2019, the music festival planted its seeds in the royal capital of Riyadh for a multi-stage event inviting over 80 artists from all across the world for a three-day live party. Fast forward two years later, the event is scheduled to take place at the heart of the Kingdom’s principal city again this December running through from the 16th to the 19th

If this year’s iteration pledges to be “bigger and better in terms of number of artists, attendees and stages, and the overall offerings and services” by the organisers, the lineup has still not been announced officially yet. However, considering the guests of the previous edition such as David Guetta, Tiesto, Martin Garrix, Steve Aoki or even J Balvin to mention just a few, it sure seems like a challenging target to try and beat and that we’re only adamant they’ll make happen.

Also to be expected from the platform is a more integrated approach to nurturing young local talents, with talks, panels and initiatives aimed at promoting young creatives to be announced at a later stage.

The first round of tickets are set to go on sale this September 2nd.
