Few stages get bigger than the opening ceremony of the Africa Cup of Nations. In one of the biggest moments of her career so far, Noor took to the stage to perform in front of millions at the last edition, representing Morocco at one of the continent’s most-watched sporting and cultural events.
She Released Her Debut Album, Dawini, in 2024
Released in 2024, Dawini marked a major step forward in Sonia Noor’s career. Blending soul, pop, and Moroccan influences, the album saw her explore identity, vulnerability, and belonging through some of her most personal songwriting yet. It remains her only full-length project to date. Since then, Noor has mostly returned to shorter formats, releasing a steady run of singles rather than putting out another full body of sonic work.
