Organizers of Wireless Festival Middle East (WFME) have just revealed an exciting shake-up: Atlanta-born rapper Playboi Carti will now headline the event following SZA’s unexpected cancellation. Known for his experimental sound and raw performances, the 28-year-old is stepping in to keep the energy high at the renowned music festival.


Carti joins an already impressive lineup featuring both regional and international stars, including Egyptian rap sensation Afroto, hip-hop heavyweight 21 Savage, and British MC Lancey Foux. Fans of the Magnolia rapper have even more reason to celebrate, as Carti is bringing along his own crew, the Opium collective, for a full-scale takeover. Expect electrifying sets from Ken Carson, Destroy Lonely, and Homixide Gang, making this a rare chance to experience the full Opium lineup in action.
