As Gaza endures one of the most devastating humanitarian crises in modern history, the world watches in horror as thousands of lives are lost, families are displaced, and essential infrastructure crumbles under relentless bombardment. In response, artists and activists are turning to the power of creativity to raise awareness, funds, and solidarity for Palestine. Across the globe, exhibitions such as Moroccan Artists for Palestine & Lebanon in Paris, RESISTANCE – Art for a Free Palestine in Margate, and Women in War – Palestine in Kuwait, are proving how art can become a tool for social change and a voice for the voiceless. From auctions funding critical medical aid in Gaza to platforms amplifying Palestinian women’s struggles, these exhibitions emphasize the role art plays in resistance and hope amidst devastation.
Moroccan Artists for Palestine & Lebanon
Taking place in Paris from Dec. 6-8, this collective exhibition features works by eight Moroccan artists united in support of Palestine and Lebanon, accompanied by an auction, performances, and film screenings throughout the weekend. Proceeds will benefit Tiro Arts Lebanon, which rehabilitates theaters housing displaced individuals and supports emerging artists; Medical Aid for Palestine, providing essential medical care; and the family of 17-year-old Yasser Al Afifi in Gaza to assist during the ongoing humanitarian crisis. Participating artists include El Mehdi Largo, Hiba Hilali, Imane Abbadi, Ismail Alaoui Fdili, Linda Zineb Kaine, Sara Noun, Hiba Loukili, and Sihame Louih, with a special auction by Fatim-Zahra Alami and performances by Zoufriya and Oxor.
RESISTANCE – Art for a Free Palestine
Launched last Saturday at the LIMBO gallery in Margate in England, RESISTANCE – Art for a Free Palestine is showcasing works by Palestinian artists from Gaza and the West Bank, alongside those in solidarity with Palestine. Organized by Thanet 4 Palestine, a Margate-based activist group known for its protests against the Turner Contemporary’s “silence and complicity” regarding the plight of Palestinians, the exhibition aims to raise funds for Gaza Sunbirds—a mutual aid charity led by Gaza’s para-cycling team—and the Ghassan Abu Sittah Children’s Fund, which provides critical medical care for children in Gaza and Lebanon. The show runs daily from 12–5 P.M. until Dec. 8, and the artworks are available via an online auction.
Women In War– Palestine
In Kuwait, the Women in War – Palestine exhibition brought together over 100 artists from around the world to express solidarity with Palestinian women through approximately 200 diverse artworks. Curated by Kuwaiti artist Amira Behbehani and held at the Contemporary Art Platform, the event was organized by the Intisar Foundation, founded by HH Sheikha Intisar AlSabah, which supports women and children in war zones through mental health drama therapy programs. Marking over a year since the start of Israel’s genocide on Gaza, the October exhibition directed its proceeds to aid Palestinian women.
Gaza Biennale

In June 2024, 50 Palestinian artists from Gaza united under a shared vision: to harness art as a tool for survival. Despite unimaginable challenges, these artists have continued creating, proving that art is not just a luxury but a lifeline. Their collective efforts have grown into a global art movement: the Gaza Biennale. The Biennale’s digital launch was unveiled on Dec. 3 during a rally outside London’s Tate Britain. To help bring this powerful vision to life, the Al Risan Art Museum—known as the Forbidden Museum—has initiated an online fundraiser. Donations will directly support Gaza’s artists and fund the production of their vital work.
