The BOF Class of 2025 is Here–And Mille Founder Sofia Guellaty is On It

congratulations !

Every year, Business of Fashion unveils a list of 500 individuals who keep the fashion industry moving forward. This year’s newly announced cohort brings together new voices, familiar names, and— most exciting for us— MILLE’s very own founder, Sofia Guellaty.

Released earlier today, the BOF 500 celebrates the people pushing the industry to evolve— those driving conversations, challenging norms, and setting new standards. So it’s hardly a surprise to see Guellaty amongst them, especially given how consistently she’s paved the way for Arab representation in a field long known for its closed doors and exclusive circles.

It’s also worth noting that she’s among the very few Arab women to have ever made the list, which goes to show why her spot feels like such a big win, not just for her, but for the region she’s been championing all along. She also happens to be the second ever Tunisian to be featured on BOF’s prestigious lineup after the late Azzedine Alaia.

Over the years, Guellaty has not only founded MILLE, but also served on the board of Fashion Trust Arabia, led Condé Nast’s first Middle East venture (Style.com/Arabia), contributed to Vanity Fair France, and — most importantly — amplified the voices of young Arab creatives on the international stage.
