The Palestinian singer has successfully secured herself a spot among the region’s, and Arab world’s, rising stars. The half-Chilean artist, who sings mostly in Arabic, was born in Nazareth, Palestine, where she would often record herself singing covers and share them on Soundcloud. She would later grab the attention of Lebanese singer Massari, who would go on to mentor her. Fast forward a couple years, and she has become a household name, collaborating with some of the biggest names in the industry like Coldplay. In 2023, she became the first Palestinian artist to perform at the iconic Coachella music festival, and the first ever to perform an entire set in Arabic.

Now, he’s playing to sold-out crowds and making waves internationally, recently becoming the first Palestinian artists to perform at New York’s iconic Webster Hall. The Palestinian-Canadian singer-songwriter first gained attention with her debut single, what if i took it off for you?—a deeply personal track about identity and belonging that struck a chord with fans worldwide. But her journey hasn’t been without challenges. In 2023, after openly supporting Palestine, she was dropped by her record label, a moment that could’ve shaken anyone’s resolve. Instead, Nemahsis took it as fuel, releasing her debut album, Verbathim, independently in 2024. Through her music, she brings listeners into her world, sharing raw, honest stories that are as much about her as they are about the resilience of staying true to yourself, no matter the cost.

Noel Kharman

Growing up in Haifa, Noel Kharman started experimenting by blending the Arabic classics she loved with Western pop, and it didn’t take long for her mashups to go viral. One of her biggest hits was a mashup of Fairouz and Adele that took the internet by storm, and from there, her fanbase only grew. With a voice that’s both powerful and smooth, Noel has this rare ability to bring two worlds together—introducing Arabic music to new audiences while honoring the classics.

Taleen is a Palestinian-Jordanian artist whose music is rooted in both her heritage and the diverse places she’s lived. Born in Amman and raised in Los Angeles before settling in Houston, she’s fused the sounds of every home she’s known — blending R&B and soul with Middle Eastern influences. Growing up in a conservative household, she wasn’t allowed to listen to music, but her curiosity led her to wake up early just to sneak in moments with MTV, falling in love with artists like Beyoncé, Prince, and Amy Winehouse. That early sense of defiance, mixed with her respect for Arabic legends like Fairuz, shows up in her work today as a unique fusion of East and West.
