Suez Studios Releases SS26 Collection
SUEZ Studio has unveiled its SS26 “Endless Summer” collection, continuing the London-based Egyptian-Iraqi label’s commitment to slow fashion and artisan production. Locally sourced materials milled by artisans in Egypt are used throughout the collection, which centres on lightweight linen pieces including wide-leg trousers, striped weave shirts, and a new crochet appliqué track set in white and black colourways. Designed to transition from city to beach, the range is accompanied by a campaign shot across Cairo.
LOEWE Opens Submissions for the 10th LOEWE FOUNDATION Craft Prize
The LOEWE Foundation has officially opened submissions for the tenth edition of its Craft Prize, inviting artisans from around the world to apply before the October 15, 2026 deadline. Established to celebrate excellence and innovation in contemporary craft, the annual award is open to anyone over the age of 18 working in a craft-based profession, with entries required to be original works made partly or entirely by hand. Thirty shortlisted pieces will go on display in a European exhibition in spring 2027, where one winner will receive €50,000 and two special mentions will each be awarded €5,000. This year’s jury welcomes mixed-media artist Ibrahim Mahama, 2026 winner Jongjin Park, and LOEWE creative directors Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez alongside returning members. Following a record 5,100 submissions from 133 countries and regions in 2026, the prize continues to cement its reputation as one of the world’s leading initiatives for contemporary arts and craft.

Pierpaolo Piccioli Makes His Balenciaga Couture Debut
Pierpaolo Piccioli made his Balenciaga Haute Couture debut with a stripped-back Fall 2026 show that put the garments front and centre. Presented outdoors in Paris, the collection centred on sculptural silhouettes, masterful cuts, and the movement of fabric, reflecting the designer’s restrained approach to couture. Rather than relying on elaborate staging, Piccioli let shape, colour, and craftsmanship take centre stage, marking a clear departure from his predecessor’s vision.
