Jil Sander Designs T-Shirt to Support Girls’ Orphanage in Afghanistan
The OTB Foundation, in partnership with Nove Caring Humans and Jil Sander, is supporting the creation of a girls’ orphanage in Kapisa, Afghanistan, to provide shelter, education, food, and clothing while protecting children from abuse, child marriage, and exploitation. This follows their 2022 collaboration that reopened a boys’ orphanage in the same region, now housing 100 children. Jil Sander will contribute by selling a limited-edition T-shirt, with 50% of proceeds funding the project. Amid Afghanistan’s ongoing humanitarian crisis, where 3.2 million children face severe malnutrition and 40% of girls risk early marriage, the orphanage offers a lifeline for education and daily meals. Since 2006, the OTB Foundation has supported 350 global projects, improving the lives of 350,000 people.
Dior Reveals Dates and Destination of Next Cruise Show
Maria Grazia Chiuri will bring Dior’s cruise show to her hometown of Rome on May 27, a fitting choice given her deep ties to the city where she was born, raised, and began her career with Fendi and Valentino. Alongside her role as Dior’s artistic director of women’s collections, Chiuri is restoring a historic theater in Rome, blending her personal and professional passions. The cruise calendar is taking shape, with Chanel opening the season at Lake Como on April 29, Gucci showcasing in Florence on May 15, and Max Mara hosting a two-day event in Naples on June 16 and 17. Meanwhile, Fendi, also under LVMH, will celebrate its centenary with Rome expected to feature prominently, starting with a coed show during Milan Fashion Week next February.
Max Mara Takes Over Dubai’s DIFC

The immersive experience offered an interactive journey through the jacket’s creation, showcasing its timeless elegance and role in women’s fashion history. Designed as a poetic exploration, the pop-up also included photo opportunities and emphasizes Max Mara’s legacy of empowering women since 1951.
Everything is Denim in Diesel’s Pre-Fall 2025 Collection
Diesel, founded by Renzo Rosso in 1978 with a mission to subvert and reimagine denim, remains true to its roots in its Pre-Fall 2025 collection under creative director Glenn Martens. This innovative lineup is a tribute to the brand’s hero fabric, with every piece either made of denim or treated to appear so. Highlights include “fluid denim,” a lightweight, overdyeable textile used for tailored jackets, pants, and oversized shirts, offering versatility and a relaxed drape. Psychedelic prints create the illusion of denim on knit tops, dresses, and tracksuits, while halterneck jumpsuits, biker shorts, and scarf skirts feature the real material. Standouts include distressed padded jackets with jacquard weaves mimicking torn denim and jersey dresses with trompe l’oeil prints. Even footwear, from loafers to sock-boots, is covered in Diesel’s signature fabric, highlighting Martens’ vision of a boundary-pushing denim wardrobe that cements Diesel as the ultimate denim innovator.
Haider Ackermann Debuts New Label With Canada Goose
Canada Goose’s new label, Snow Goose, designed by Haider Ackermann, has debuted with over 60 winter-ready silhouettes for FW24, blending classic and bold color palettes with innovative design. Inspired by nature’s power as a tranquil escape, standout pieces include the Rider Jacket, an oversized update of the 90s Peace Keeper Parka with reflective accents and utility pockets, and the Celestia Jacket, a silver-reflective twist on the classic shirt jacket. The collection balances tech-forward features, like the zipper-heavy Squall Jacket and Pant in vibrant “Aquarius” blue, with edgy black-and-white diamond quilt patterns seen on outerwear and cozy knitwear. High-saturation designs like the Mirage Jacket, in deep green Arctic Tech fabric with a neon hood, add a striking touch. Captured by Willy Vanderperre, the campaign features Ethan Hawke, Julia Nobis, and other creatives from diverse fields.
JW Anderson Launches the Loafer Bag
JW Anderson’s Loafer bag, a standout accessory from the brand’s last two runway shows, reimagines the classic penny loafer as a meticulously crafted handbag. Designed with a hand-stitched whale-tail penny keeper detail on the front, a sole-inspired base, and a handle evoking a shoe’s welt, it embodies footwear-inspired design. Available in two sizes—classic and large—the bag comes in smooth calf leather (off-white, pecan, black) and chocolate suede for the classic version, while the larger Weekender size is offered in black leather and chocolate suede. Each bag features silver hardware and embossed JW Anderson logos, reflecting the brand’s luxury craftsmanship. Handcrafted in Italy, the Loafer bag is a modern, innovative take on a timeless design.
Takashi Murakami and Louis Vuitton May Be Reuniting
Rumor has it that Takashi Murakami is reuniting with Louis Vuitton for their 2024/2025 collection, marking a major comeback after their iconic 2003 collaboration under Marc Jacobs. Alleged leaked teasers reveal multi-colored bags and accessories splashed with pop art prints and bold graphics. Though Louis Vuitton has yet to officially announce the collection, multiple sources have confirmed it.
