Break the Block 2025
Break the Block is back, taking over Al Wasl Plaza at Expo City on Feb. 1 for an unforgettable urban block party. Dubai’s own Le Hash kicks things off with beats presented by Miss Lily’s, followed by DJ Mathea’s hypnotic blend of deep house and techno. At 9:30 p.m., WASS unveils Gharam Electric, a genre-bending Arabic-infused LP. Headlining the night is electronic music legend Bonobo, serving hits like Cirrus and Kong. Soulection stars JAEL and Rosey Gold will close the night with R&B, Afrobeat, and dynamic sounds.

2025 Emirates LitFest
No, not that kind of lit. The annual Emirates LitFest is back for its 17th edition on Jan. 29, promising six days of dynamic workshops, thought-provoking talks and conversations, and unmissable activities like spoken word sessions in the heart of the desert. Running until Feb. 3 at the InterContinental in Dubai Festival City, book lovers will also get the chance to engage with an eclectic mix of renowned and emerging authors, including Abraham Verghese, author of the acclaimed novel The Covenant of Water; Chigozie Obioma, the author of The Road to the Country; and Diary of a Wimpy Kid author, Jeff Kinney.
Ariana Grande x Swarovski Mall of the Emirates pop up

If you’re an Arianator, or simply just a shopaholic, then you don’t want to miss the Ariana Grande x Swarovski jewelry pop-up at the Mall of the Emirates. Running through Feb. 23 at the Fashion Dome, the exclusive, pink-washed pop-up is like stepping into the American hitmaker’s mind. Art lovers don’t want to miss Hot Spots, a collaboration between Tabari Artspace and The Third Line. Getting underway at Sotheby’s, this exhibition showcases works exploring human movement and cultural connections, creating a fascinating dialogue between regional artists. Featuring pieces that celebrate identity and migration, this exhibition runs until March 10.
CHOUCHOU x MOTION: Luxe Fitness on the Beach
Swap your regular workout for a slice of the French Riviera at CHOUCHOU, Dubai’s hottest new beach club.
