Since their launch in 2015, Dubai-based label Three Fifty Nine has been fast on the rise. And from the looks of it, 2018 is shaping up to be their best year yet.
After being announced as the winner of the DDFC x FAD award, the ready-to-wear label has been selected to showcase at Fashion Scout London as part of London Fashion Week this September.
Three Fifty Nine’s win marks the competition’s fourth edition—which has proven itself as a remarkable platform in the region for emerging Arab talent. Fashion Scout London will give the brand an incredible opportunity to show their latest collection to an international audience. In the past, the show has catapulted the careers of now-distinguished designers Peter Pilotto, David Koma, and Pheobe English.
In celebration of her accomplishment, the designer said in a statement, “It’s an incredible platform for emerging designers to present their collections at London Fashion Week. I am overjoyed to be amongst the designers showcasing at the renowned event. I would like to thank DDFC and FAD Dubai for this opportunity and for all their support, it’s a dream come true!”.
Founded by Egyptian-born designer Marwa Sayed, the label has become synonymous with clean cuts, bold colours, vibrant prints and geometric patterns. Her designs have been a staple at regional showcase Fashion Forward Dubai, and are now set to show at New York Fashion Week in the spring.
