If you still haven’t explored the world of Tiktok: welcome. It’s glorious. The application typically reserved for unsuspecting teenagers doing dance challenges has transformed into a treasure chest of activities for all generations.
Tiktok dance challenges might have been a fun pastime for Gen Z for a while, but for us millennials, it’s literally a challenge. We never understood them, belittled them—and frankly might have been a little intimidated by them.
We’ve tried to intellectualise them, but their prevalence has only triggered realisations of our aging process. With a pandemic underway, that has all changed: dance challenges are officially a multi-generational pastime.
If you’re wondering where to start, we’ve rounded up some of TikTok’s most popular moves.
