The Globetrotting Trunk Show Paving the Way for Young Designers

How The Magic Circle is changing the fashion game

With the fashion industry growing increasingly demanding, it’s no secret that young designers are struggling more than ever to make their way to the top. Kuwaiti designer Najeeba Hayat, Jordanian sisters Nafsika and Stephanie Skourti, and the Italian Beatrice Bongiasca—being designers in their own right—were quick to recognize the problem. But instead of watching from the distance, the trio decided to inflict some real change.

The result? The Magic Circle: a globetrotting trunk show with the goal of giving designers from across the world access to a physical and virtual client-base they wouldn’t otherwise have.

The trio is set to host their first edition this month, in none other than Kuwait’s 360 Luxury Mall. The trunk show will see a collaboration with luxury social commerce platform Threads Styling, giving way to those participating to the platform’s massive network of shoppers.

As for their next stops? The Magic Circle will go on to make its way to Jordan and Italy—and we can’t wait to see what they have in store.

The Magic Circle will run from January 30-31.
