Tunisian Producer Ratchopper Shares His On-the-Road Playlist

A lesson I learned growing up is that you always need a music connoisseur in your circle of close friends. From a very utilitarian and pragmatic perspective, beyond being a great life companion, that person will always have the right song to soundtrack any moment or mood. And producer Ratchopper would’ve been that friend if I had grown up in Tunisia too.

Over the past few years, the North African creative has co-signed a significant number of tracks for many of the region’s top artists, with a list of prestigious collaborators that only keeps getting longer. Tunisian rappers Ghali, Koast, and A.L.A are among some of the names who laid bars over his beats, with many others— such as Palestinian singer Zeyne and rising Egyptian star Lella Fadda — joining the growing roster of heavyweights drawn to his sonic instincts.

Since the beginning of 2025, his most notable accolades have come from his contributions to Saint Levant’s latest project, Love Letters, where he was commissioned to produce five out of its six tracks. Currently on tour with the part-Algerian part-Palestinian artist, the Jendouba-born producer has been bouncing from city to city, performing live while crafting new material on-the-go. In between two stops, we caught up with the hitmaker to find out what songs have been soundtracking his travels.
