Italian Maison Valentino are set to unveil an exclusive haute couture abbaya collection. Yes, Valentino is getting into the abbaya game. Created by the Rome-born Pierpaolo Piccioli, creative director of the label, the collection was created in light of the upcoming #QatarCreates 2021, the country’s cultural celebration.
Revealed within a special physical installation designed for the occasion, fifteen pieces will weave colour layering, texture and different motifs together to give birth to new ample lines, cuts and forms tailored for this singular capsule collection.
Vibrant in colour, all abbayas to be displayed will have long, light and expansive silhouettes which is only further evidence of the designer’s ability to adapt, overcome and conquer any task that is laid in front of the brand. The installation will also feature the Valentino Des Ateliers Haute Couture collection and twelve artworks that have inspired it.

The exclusive abbaya collection will be available on private appointments starting October 31 until November 5 in Doha’s design district.
