The possibilities are endless. And with the latest from the Kingdom\u2019s capital, it looks like it\u2019s slowly becoming a reality.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The city just held one of its first major fashion events, entitled Fashion Futures, with some of the industry\u2019s biggest heavyweights jetting off to the kingdom for the first time just for the occasion.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Having kicked off on December 10, the two-day event brought together both international and local fashion communities together to discuss topics related to themes of sustainability, diversity, innovation, and entrepreneurship. The festival also saw the first Saudi 100 Brands Exhibition take place.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CXIxH_LIIHG\/<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The event was led by Her Highness Princess Noura Bint Faisal Al Saud, alongside Burak Cakmak, the CEO of Saudi Arabia\u2019s Fashion Commission. This edition of the fashion event brought along a series of fashion experts for its panels.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rachel Zoe was among them, alongside actress Rosario Dawson, Kering Group\u2019s Marie Claire Daveu, LVMH\u2019s Laetitia Roche-Grenet, and Zadig &amp; Voltaire CEO Remy Baume, to name a few.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CXVxE_fITEy\/<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On its first day, Saudi Arabia\u2019s H.H. Princess Noura bint Faisal Al Saudi, who is the Sector Development Director of the Fashion Commission and the Saudi Minister of Culture Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Farhan Al Saudi started it all off with a speech. Lama Alakeel Thana Al-Harbi, who is the co-founder of Coded Nation, and Arizona Muse followed up with a panel discussing the term \u2018influencer\u2019 and influencer marketing.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The move to bring a fashion event to Saudi Arabia is further proof of the steps the nation is taking to make Vision 2030, spearheaded by Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, a reality.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Could Riyadh become the Middle East\u2019s fashion capital?
