The late Tunisian designer Azzedine Alaïa was known for his intimate, star-studded dinners that took place in his Parisian home. Often attended by a mix of fashion icons, celebrities, and artists, his dinners were characterized by a sense of warmth–he often cooked for his guests himself, showcasing his love for food as well as fashion. The gatherings became legendary not just for the guest list, which included figures like Naomi Campbell, Grace Jones, and Anna Wintour, but also for the conversations that flowed around his table, blending discussions of art, culture, and fashion. Now, in a heartelt homage to its founder, the iconic fashion house has launched an intimate dinner series, rekindling the magic of the legendary gatherings that once captivated the fashion world.

For those who missed the opportunity to experience Alaïa’s famed dinners—where fashion icons, artists, and celebrities gathered in his charming Parisian abode—the luxury label is inviting loyal followers and customers of the brand to an exclusive dinner experience in the heart of Paris. As part of an upcoming series of intimate suppers, spearheaded by Alaïa alongside French culinary creative studio We Are Ona, the culinary experience aims to explore the “intersection of fashion, food, and hospitality” through several events slated to be held across the world.

Kicking off at Alaïa’s Parisian headquarters on Oct. 17 and 18, guests can look forward to indulging in sophisticated dishes crafted by the womenswear label’s creative director Pieter Mulier and French Chef Jules Saint Cyr. The duo teamed up to create a signature five-course menu, with a carefully curated beverage selection from We Are Ona founder Luca Pronzato.
While the concept is scheduled to travel to different cities around the world, the exact locations remain unconfirmed. Each dinner will spotlight a different chef, personality, and an exclusive set of furniture and tableware, promising a one-of-a-kind experience every time.
