From big to small screens, Arab productions have been going from strength to strength in recent years, with the renaissance of homegrown Arab productions proving that we are still a force to be reckoned with. 2023 saw shows like Safah El Giza— a true crime miniseries centered around the life of Gaddafi Farag, a notorious serial killer, and fraudster responsible for the death of four innocent people between 2015 and 2017— the second season of Netflix’s reality series Dubai Bling, and Kuwait’s The Exchange, making waves across the region. Honestly, it’s hard to imagine how next year will top this lineup. Fortunately, 2024 is set to be a bumper year for television and we’re here to provide you with the titles we’re most excited about in the new year.
