Lola James Harper aren’t strangers to branching out – in true multitasking-millennial fashion, the cult Parisian fragrance brand have already dabbled in the coffee, cookie, and furniture business. But this time around, they’re taking a stab at the hotel industry, with their first hotel scheduled to open in Paris in late 2018 in partnership with French hotel group Accorhotels.
For those hoping for a little preview, the brand have unveiled a hotel lobby installation at Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche, where you can catch a glimpse at what the future holds for Hotel Lola James Harper.
Located on the first floor of the famed department store, the space is filled with vintage furniture and luggage from MobilHome—where you can have a seat on one of their iconic Kann Design or Acapulco chairs. You’ll also find photography prints by Lola James Harper’s founder Rami Mekdachi on the dark blue and yellow walls—which he’s taken throughout his travels over twenty years of travels.
And if you’re particularly into music, you’ll be happy to know that there’s a make-shift ‘Music Studio’, where shoppers are invited to experiment and listen to vinyl’s, and even a ‘Music School’ where Mekdachi offers workshops to customers willing to try their hand at music production.
The project is part of Le Bon Marche’s quirky ‘Let’s Go Logo’ campaign, where Lola James Harper is one of 200 brands invited to rework their logos in exclusive capsule collections. For the project, the brand collaborated with VeniceBall, an LA-based Basketball league in creating a branded basketball exclusively for the event.
The event is set to run through April 1st.
