Arab actors are having a major moment. And by the looks of it, they’re not slowing down any time soon. Case in point: Rami Malek. The Egyptian-American actor is now the face of Saint Laurent.
After winning an Oscar last year for his stunning portrayal of Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody, the actor is stepping further into the limelight by starring in the French fashion house’s latest campaign.

Shot by David Sims, Malek is seen sporting the Anthony Vaccarello-designed SS20 collection in stark black and white. This means you’ll catch Malek in Saint Laurent’s sexiest slim cut trousers, as well as sequined pants and silk boleros in an ode to Mercury’s signature eclectic style, on red carpets throughout awards season no doubt.

Malek follows in the footsteps of Keanu Reeves, who was the face of last year’s campaign (which literally broke the internet). But this isn’t the first time Malek has dipped his toes into the fashion industry. The actor previously fronted Dior Homme’s 2017 campaign alongside industry heavyweights, including Harlem rapper A$AP Rocky.
