Malika El Maslouhi

A Jacquemus Model’s Guide to Milan

Malika El Maslouhi on the best spots to eat, drink and hang

Malika El Maslouhi

“Milan is really important to me, I love it” says Moroccan-Italian model Malika El Maslouhi, who was raised in the Italian capital.I think what’s great is that it’s big enough to have everything you need but at the same time not too big to walk around.”

The 20-year-old unexpectedly broke out into the industry at the tender age of 18 , and has captivated the fashion industry ever since.

Having already appeared in campaigns for cult brands like Jacquemus and Off/White, Maslouhi and just made her first appearances at New York Fashion Week, walking for a myriad of brands like Ralph Lauren, Tory Burch, The Row and Oscar de la Renta, to name just a few.

But she still deems walking for Dior’s Resort 2020 show in Marrakesh as her most memorable career highlight to date, stating that she had “never felt this much at home working”

Bringing a new spirit of inclusivity to the runways, Mashouli is committed to using her difference to forge a successful career. “It’s important to be visible. I think I have something to say and I want to be an example for the new generation”, she continues.
