To commemorate International Women’s Day, which takes place each year on March 8, multi-award-winning singer, songwriter, and producer Alicia Keys has just announced that she will be hosting the third installment of her “Women to Women” event in Jeddah. As usual, the empowering initiative– which got underway in AlUla last year– will bring together influential and impactful female figures who will engage in a conversation about how women are pushing the culture forward in Saudi Arabia and around the world.
Held in Balad Al-Fann— a space located in the old historic district of Jeddah— the forward-thinking moment will see several prominent Saudi figures joining hands to inspire and pave the way for future generations. Among the confirmed attendees are Riyadh-based muralist Noura Bint Saidan, artist and photographer Huda Beydoun, 38-year-old alpinist Raha Moharrak, rising DJ Cosmicat, aerospace engineer, and entrepreneur Mishaal Ashemimry, as well as popular opinion leader Hessah Alsanea. What’s more, the Fallin’ hitmaker is also set to perform, marking her first concert in Jeddah.

I’m also so inspired to connect in a meaningful way with the amazing women there to discuss cultural, creative, and boundary-pushing narratives we are collectively and individually leading. In light of International Women’s Day on March 8th, it’s the perfect time to discuss important issues affecting us,” the American songstress said in a released statement.
Keys is also slated to perform on the following day, on March 9, as part of the Formula 1 STC Saudi Arabian Grand Prix 2024. Sharing the stage with producer and designer Pharrell Williams, the upcoming concert is poised to be another exciting moment to clear your calendar for.
Both events, powered by MDLBEAST and Swizz Beatz’s creative agency, Good Intentions, promise an unforgettable fusion of music and culture, all while placing important conversations and people at the forefront of each experience.
