The renowned Italian fashion house is commemorating the occasion of the holy month with the unveiling of its latest capsule collection and campaign for Ramadan and Eid. During this sacred time, fashion houses tend to draw inspiration from a myriad of cultural influences, resulting in collections that reflect the rich traditions and customs observed during Ramadan from intricate embroidery inspired by Islamic art to earthy color palettes reminiscent of the Middle Eastern landscape. In Prada’s case, the house was inspired by the allure of the Earth and sky, paying homage to the harmonious interplay between these opposing forces of nature and the ethereal horizon where they converge. Lensed against the backdrop of desert sands and azure skies, the collection’s palette of tan hues echoes the serene landscapes of the region. The offering features a carefully-curated selection of ready-to-wear shirts, trousers, and accessories, including bags, sunglasses, and shoes, that cater to the unique sartorial needs of this special season.

Just in time for the holy month, Dior has unveiled a new capsule collection that pays homage to the color gold. Titled “Dior Or,” the exclusive line is specially dedicated to the Middle East, celebrating the holy ninth month of the Islamic calendar through a curated lineup of gowns, knit sets, and bar jackets in a gilded color palette. In accessories, we see new interpretations of Dior classics in soft hues including the Lady D-Joy in silver, black, and gold tones. The Lady Dior bag is also enhanced with floral embroidery. When it comes to shoes, the J’Adior pumps, Dway mules, and the Walk’N’Dior sneakers have been reinterpreted in a palette of golden tints that will light up any outfit.
