Representing the Kingdom in its much-awaited debut at the 73rd edition of the global beauty pageant taking place in Mexico is influencer-slash-model Rumy Alqahtani. With a legion of devoted followers and fans on social media, the Riyadh-born content creator took to Instagram to express her excitement and heartfelt gratitude for being trusted with such a significant moment in this historic moment.

“Honored to participate in Miss Universe 2024,” Qahtani captioned a picture of herself standing next to the Saudi flag. “This is the first participation of Saudi Arabia in the Miss Universe competition,” she added.
