The Event Gathering the Region’s Music Collectors in One Place

Vinyl Souk DXB takes place on Nov. 25

Music enthusiasts and devoted vinyl collectors residing in Dubai have a new event to look forward to– each month.  The recurring event, known as Vinyl Souk DXB, endeavors to bring together like-minded individuals across the city who share a profound love for music and crate digging.

Set to take place at Dubai’s stylish 25hours Hotel One Central, this month’s edition on Nov. 25 promises to be unforgettable, with a diverse lineup of activities, offering attendees an opportunity to enhance their ever-growing vinyl collections. The event not only serves as a marketplace for record and cassette aficionados, but also encourages collectors to engage in record swapping, fostering a sense of community among attendees.

Curated stalls featuring vinyl and cassettes for sale will be present, showcasing a diverse array of offerings from pop-up brands such as Raw Music Store, Qualia Audio, The Source Distro, Metal East Records Store, Vinyl.ae, Lo Life, Paradistro Zinegeist, Gulf Photo Plus, Analog The Room Mercado, and more. At its core, Vinyl Souk DXB aims to revive the vinyl culture, creating a space where like-minded individuals can come together to celebrate their shared appreciation for music.

What’s more, the event will feature sets by a range of DJs from across the region, including the UK’s eclectic Beirut Groove Collective’s Natalie Shooter, Dubai-based Cheb Moha, the versatile musician and DJ Mckie Alvarez, and Bahran’s DJ Dust. As for the afterparty, Shooter will be joined by the esteemed British DJ and collector Giles Smith.
