‘Metallic Orb’ UFO Was Spotted in the Middle East, Pentagon Reveals

new unexplained anomalous phenomena just dropped

A video, previously marked classified by the US government, has now been released and it shows a fast-moving “metallic orb” traveling over buildings somewhere in the Middle East. The strange orb, or as it’s officially called, Unexplained Anomalous Phenomena (UAP), was spotted by a US MQ-9 “reaper” drone in July 2022, and according to US defense official Sean M. Kirkpatrick, this particular UFO has been spotted repeatedly in the region, he told a subcommittee of the Senate Armed Services Committee, on Wednesday.

Kirkpatrick, who heads the Pentagon’s All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), which tracks and studies UFOs, is the one who revealed the footage of the orb. He told the committee that there are 650 unexplained objects being tracked by his office, but insists that there has been no evidence of extraterrestrial activity so far. “I should also state clearly for the record that in our research AARO has found no credible evidence thus far of extraterrestrial activity, off-world technology or objects that defy the known laws of physics,” he told the panel.

Speaking about the metallic orb spotted in our region last year, he said that “it is going to be virtually impossible to fully identify that just based off of that video.” The video, shot from an MQ-9 Reaper drone in the Middle East in 2022, pans across the desert, over buildings, vehicles, and people, struggling to keep up with a spherical object zipping in and out of frame. Kirkpatrick told the panel that while the UAP was not exhibiting anomalous behavior, it had “characteristics and behavior consistent with other ‘metallic orb’ observations in the region,” and that the case is in AARO’s “active archive… pending discovery of additional data.”

It’s not the first time that a strange metallic object was captured in our region. In January, US officials released an image taken by a drone in April 2016 of a UFO-like object spotted flying over the Iraqi city of Mosul over an active conflict zone.
