Matthieu Blazy is set to present the spring 2024 ready-to-wear collection for Bottega Veneta on Saturday, Sep. 23 at 8:00 p.m. CEST (10:00 p.m. GST) during Milan Fashion Week, which is currently underway in the Italian metropolis.
The Paris-born designer cut his teeth at Maison Margiela, Celine, and Calvin Klein before taking over the reigns at the buzzy Italian fashion house. The former Raf Simons deputy took over from previous creative director Daniel Lee, who departed from the brand in 2021. He debuted his first collection for Bottega Veneta at Milan Fashion Week in February 2022, including trompe l’oeil jeans made out of leather.
Following his debut collection, Blazy went on to single-handedly change the entire direction of Bottega Veneta, re-inventing the brand in only three-years (and three collections), simultaneously churning up ultra-wearable designs that haven’t failed to wow the clients, guests, buyers, and press who eagerly populate his front row.
