Following the success of his Nike collaborations, Off-White’s Virgil Abloh continued to do what he does best and pushed the envelope once again by partnering with Timberland to rework their iconic boot.
In typical Off-White fashion, the redesign is subtle. His iteration essentially centred around replacing the boot’s original material with velvet, completely wiping out the original design’s promise of durability, and in a way, elevating the boot to a certain level of luxury.
The boots were released in four colourways: neon green, black, orange, and camel. The first drop went on sale in late 2017 (to be delivered in March) and although you’d be hard pressed to get your hands on the neon green, black, and orange pairs – the camel has just been re-released online.
