Universal Music Group (UMG), the world’s foremost music company, is collaborating with the UAE-based music organization DGMC to establish a dynamic “Music City” in Dubai.
This landmark partnership will witness UMG introducing its inaugural Capitol Studios— these will be the first-ever Capitol Studios outside of the historic Capitol Tower in Hollywood. The development will encompass three cutting-edge Capital Studios recording facilities equipped with state-of-the-art features, including a Dolby Atmos mixing room, recording studios, a green room, a writer’s room, and a rehearsal studio. Additionally, the collaboration will mark the launch of a new record label dedicated to nurturing local artists across all facets of their careers, along with the establishment of educational academies.
These academies will provide structured curriculum courses and exclusive “Master Classes” led by industry luminaries, empowering future generations to master both the creative and business aspects of the industry.
