Wizkid is Coming to Abu Dhabi

The three-day event is one of a kind.

Nigerian singer WizKid is set to top Futr World festival’s lineup in their inaugural event taking place in the UAE’s heating capital Abu Dhabi.

The songwriter and producer, who is already recognised for having paved the way for several of his hits onto global charts, will be headlining the free festival which will run from December 9th to 11th. Composed of three main sets of events ranging from seminars to summits as well as the very anticipated live music performance, the programme will also include workshops and masterclasses by influencers and key figures from the fashion, travel and sports industry.

Set in the heart of Abu Dhabi’s cultural hub, the emirates notorious art gallery, Manarat AlSaadiyat, will be the event’s host.

“Futr World is the first of its kind in the world and we are very happy to have the opportunity to launch this brand-new event in Abu Dhabi,” said Shane White, managing director of the festival’s parent organisation Futr Group.

Paradoxically, this won’t be Wiz Kind’s first time performing in the Emirati kingdom. On this occasion, he will be accompanied by one of the UK’s fastest rising RnB artists, Alicai Harley. But not only. Several other international names will be sharing the stage to shed light on their experiences and discuss latest trends and innovations in all of their respective fields. Boiler Room’s CEO and founder Blaise Bellville or the luxurious Harrods’ managing director Michael Ward will be amongst the lengthy list of noteworthy lecturers taking part in one of the region’s hottest events this summer.
