We’re more than halfway through Ramadan, which seems to have passed by in the blink of an eye. It’s now time to bid farewell to the cherished casts and storylines from the first half of the Ramadan series, as we get ready to embrace the introduction of new characters for the second wave of mosalsalat. Unlike previous Ramadans, this year has witnessed a remarkable surge in 15-episode shows, deviating from the traditional 30-episode format spanning the entire month. From comedy to drama, here are the series awaiting enjoyment in the latter half of this holy month.  

‘Bedon Sabek Enzar’

Helmed by the esteemed director Hani Khalifa, Bedoun Sabeq Enzar seamlessly combines mystery, suspense, and heartfelt drama. Featuring the magnetic performances of Asser Yassin and Aicha Bin Ahmed as Marwan and Laila, respectively, the series delves into the intricate dynamics of their seemingly flawless marriage, which faces the ultimate trial when tragedy befalls their family. As their world is rocked by their son’s illness, Marwan and Laila embark on a profound journey of self-discovery and resilience.

‘Cobra’

Adel Imam’s son Mohamed Imam returns to the screen as he takes on the role of a car repair shop owner who finds himself caught in a struggle between good and evil. Joined by Menna Fadaly, Os Os, and Kozbara, Imam leads viewers on a thrilling ride through a world of comedy, danger, and mishaps. 

‘Maleeha’

Maleeha transports viewers on a compelling journey alongside the titular character, spanning from Egypt to Palestine. Haunted by the echoes of her homeland, Maleeha embarks on a poignant quest to reclaim her identity and rediscover her roots. This series is anticipated to serve as a powerful voice for the voiceless, shedding light on the enduring struggles faced by the people of Palestine. The series stars the great Mervat Amin, Egyptian-British actor Amir El Masry, who has actively been vocal about the horrors unfolding in Gaza, and plenty other talents. 

‘Ba2ena Etnein’

Ba2eina Etnein intricately traces the journey of a divorced woman as she bravely challenges societal norms, navigating the repercussions of her choices on both herself and her children. With stellar performances by Sherif Mounir and Rania Youssef, this series stands as the last project of the late Tarek Abdelaziz, whose untimely passing occurred during the filming process.

‘Khaled Noor w Waladoh Noor Khaled’

Chico, renowned for his comedic chemistry with Hesham Maged and Ahmed Fahmy, joins forces with the talented Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz for another uproarious adventure. In this series, two friends find themselves in a hilariously bizarre situation when they realize they’re father and son despite being the same age, all due to a glitch in the matrix. With a premise ripe for laughter and heartwarming moments, viewers can expect an entertaining journey as Chico and Karim showcase their distinctive brand of humor on screen.

‘Raheel’

Yasmine Sabry returns to the screen in the role of Raheel, a woman whose world is shattered when she’s unjustly accused of a crime. Teaming up with Ahmed Salah Hosny and Mohamed El Kilany, Sabry takes viewers on a journey of redemption as Raheel battles to vindicate herself and rebuild her life.

 ‘Gadwar’

In Gawdar, viewers are whisked away into a realm of adventure as three siblings of a merchant set out on a daring quest for treasure. As Gawdar and his companions traverse through a captivating journey to unveil the enigmatic secrets guarded by the Wiseman Shamardal, this epic narrative promises to delve into themes of family, friendship, and betrayal. With captivating visuals and a compelling retelling of one of Alf Leila w Leila’s stories, Gawdar stars Yasser Galal, Nour, Tara Emad, Yasmine Raeis, and more.
