Last year, the very revered Gucci had made their message loud and clear when the fashion house decided to withdraw from official Fashion Week calendars. The way things are going, we’re glad they did.
On Tuesday, the Italian luxury label gave a Hollywood twist to their new upcoming set of ready-to-wear pieces in none other than the City of Angels itself.
This spring collection, entitled ‘Love Parade’, is spearheaded by Alessandro Michele. Of course, he continues to hit the nail on the head. Here, the 48-year-old fashion designer makes use of a wide palette of colours to paint his line with a refreshing new brush. And that is not the only thing that has caught our attention. From materials to textures and an eclectic range of looks, the Florence-based brand also called on a star-studded list of celebrities and models to carry these new glamorous pieces lavishly.
Some of the main names included appearances from Jared Leto, Jodie Turner-Smith as well as Macaulay Culkin all walking for Gucci for the sake of fashion and design. If the catwalk was full of showbiz heavyweights, so was the crowd as American-pop singer Billie Eilish, Serena Williams and Dwyane Wade, amongst others, were all spotted in the crowd seemingly ready to be wowed by the show that was about to unfold.

Magical in every sense of the word, Gucci’s Love Parade has shown the world that fashion is past the need for specific timings to introduce its pieces while independence and creativity are celebrated in a memorable event.
