Calling football fanatics: American label Thom Browne has announced an exclusive collaboration with five-time UEFA champions football team, FC Barcelona. And it’s all for a good cause.
All proceeds from the FC Barcelona-branded collection will benefit the Barca Foundation, who’s objective is to “support vulnerable children and young people through sport and the teaching of values,” as their website reads.
The collection, which features Thome Browne’s signature tailoring is merged with the football club’s iconic blue and red colour scheme and logo, includes everything from dress shirts and cardigans to socks.
The move marks Thome Browne’s first collaboration with a major football team, but the brand is no stranger to partnerships. Past collaborations include luggage retailer Samsonite, curated menswear location New Concept for Nordstrom, and giant tech-conglomerate Samsung.
The campaign includes Tunisian-Italian rapper and recording artist Ghali, as well as model and creative Luka Sabbat.
The limited-edition menswear capsule collection is now available to purchase on both Farfetch and Thom Browne’s online store.
