In a move to enrich its regional brand portfolio, luxury e-tailer NET-A-PORTER is proudly debuting the first Saudi designer on its platform, showcasing the exquisite creations of Abadia. As a distinguished member of the Saudi 100 brands— a program supporting and highlighting 100 ready-to-wear, couture, and accessories brands from Saudi Arabia— Abadia joins the eveningwear assortment, bringing a touch of local heritage to the global fashion landscape.

Founded by Shahd AlShehail in 2016, Abadia is more than just a fashion label but a testament to cultural richness and a commitment to supporting local artisans. Abadia stands out as an ethical luxury brand, dedicated to preserving the age-old craftsmanship of the Arabian Peninsula by collaborating with the artisan community in Saudi Arabia, underscoring its dedication to sustaining the region’s cultural heritage while providing the skilled craftspeople with a sustainable source of income to support themselves and their families.

This month, NET-A-PORTER introduces six meticulously-curated products from Abadia, each embodying the essence of timeless elegance. These coveted pieces not only celebrate the artistry of Saudi design but also emphasize Abadia’s enduring commitment to preserving craftsmanship for years to come. Pieces include timeless evening wear in rich fabrics, such as the “Seen” coat beautifully constructed from Japanese lace and an elegant white maxi dress crafted out of airy crinkled-voile, that are perfect for the holiday season’s many celebrations.

Abadia joins a curated list of other Arab brands available to shop on the online retailer, including Amina Muaddi, Reem Acra, and Benchellal, among others.
