Despite what our lockdown-wrecked minds would lead us to believe, it has been a year since Euphoria premiered and drew us all into its rhinestone-filled world. The good news is, we won’t have to wait another for a second season to reunite with Alexa Demie’s iconic looks. It’s confirmed: we’re getting two bonus episodes this December.
The news comes after its star, Zendaya made history as the youngest ever and the second Black woman to score an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress for her role as Rue.
Last month, the 24-year-old actress teased audiences about the new episodes in an interview with ET, saying “All I can really say is that season two won’t happen for a while, but we do have a couple bridge episodes that we’re shooting currently that aren’t really part of season one or season two, but kind of give people a little something different with Euphoria to hold us over a little bit.”
This week, her co-star Hunter Schafer took to Instagram to confirm that two special episodes will drop on HBO on December 6.
